Activity and Authentication Analyzer (AAAnalyzer) - is security software, earlier distributed as Shareware (v.1.64), now is distribution as Demo, for activity analysis implementation, for the counteraction to such an analysis and utility for changing of the system settings and policies, for prohibiting and restricting the access to the stored sensitive to content data and available services as well as for changing the settings and functionality of the wide-spread Microsoft Internet applications: Internet Explorer, Netmeeting, MSN Instant Messenger and Outlook Express.
Current version: v.1.64.0.5
Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP/2003/Vista/7/8/8.1/10/11
Unbeknownst to most computer users, each and every time they turn their computer on, it keeps a record of all activity, whether on-line or off. The ability to access past user data and files is a serious threat to the legitimate user's privacy. Activity and Authentication Analyzer is one of the solutions to this serious user privacy problem.
This program is designed to completely remove the traces of your activities stored in the registry and allowing you to either delete or overwrite private data, thereby preventing any reconstruction of your activities. Using an Explorer-type interface you select the Registry section you wish to edit in one window, and then select the specific data which you wish to erase in another window. Each Registry entry displayed is accompanied by a brief description of its function to ensure that you are erasing or modifying the correct elements. Along with the erasing of activities, Activity Analyzer also contains a number of options for locking or modifying certain Control Panel options, such as Display, Network, Passwords, Printers, System and Internet Explorer Options and more. You can disable your context menus, DOS sessions, Registry editing, Internet and Network access, hide your Desktop icons, Start menu items, control Internet Explorer Usage, view computer use by your kids or employees. Security restrictions can be applied to Windows system universally or to the Current User.
System Administration within AAAnalyzer controls more than five hundreds system settings and policies which are applied in five principal security risk areas:
- To increase the system security level, i.e. enable internal Windows capability to eradicate left traces or not to record such activity traces, to disable password caching (local save) or to clear the page file when shutting down.
- To increase the overall system performance rate.
- To spare system resources if the system lack resources.
- To prevent unskilled or unauthorized users from changing system settings, program installation/uninstallation, from printer addition/deletion or mapping of network drives.
- To disable or limit functions in the Internet Explorer, i.e. prohibit save pages locally and download updates or change browser settings and security levels.
Activity Analysis within AAAnalyzer provides these tools for analyzing prior computer use or misuse:
- As a reminder in order to retrace one's own action in the system to restore the order and names of the recent opened documents, latest network connections, etc...
- As a corporative management tool for the analysis of the computer equipment use by personnel.
- As a tool to retrace the activity in the system while being absent.
- As a tool for inspection of computer use either by the children or by the household.
- As a tool for system debugging and administration.
- As a criminology tool for the restoration of the activity in a computer system to piece together evidence of a crime.
Counteraction to Activity Analysis within AAAnalyzer provides the following safeguards against the retroactive analyzing of computer use:
- To securely eradicate or fill with blanks the activity tracks of a user.
- To prevent infringement on your privacy or personal life.
The Profile file is the collection of user-defined policies and settings processed by AAAnalyzer. The very structure of the AAAnalyzer Profile file is the plain text format with tabulation symbols used as delimiters. It was made intentionally to give to advanced users or system administrators the possibility to import the Profile file made by AAAnalyzer to MS Excel or database format for the further processing.
Several previously saved files can be easily and effectively used as user Profiles in order to apply them either on the same local system or replicated on another computer.
System Requirements
Software requirement to the system will fit any of Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP/2003/Vista/7/8/8.1/10/11 will fit software requirement to the system. The AAAnalyzer uses neither additional drivers, nor undocumented functions. It resorts only to standard Windows API (application user interface).
